The province of Cadiz is one of Andalusia’s most captivating destinations, where tradition, art and stunning landscapes come together. On this day trip from Seville, we will discover two of its most representative gems: Jerez de la Frontera, known for its wine and Andalusian horses, and Cadiz, the oldest city in Europe, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean.

We will begin our tour by travelling through the fertile fields of the Guadalquivir Valley until we reach Jerez de la Frontera, internationally renowned for its wine-making tradition. We will visit one of its prestigious sherry wineries, where we will learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of several local varieties.

Next, we will enjoy a unique experience at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, attending the famous Andalusian horse show. This authentic equestrian ballet, recognised worldwide, combines the elegance of the Andalusian horse with Spanish music and traditional 18th-century costumes.

After the exhibition, we will head to the Costa de la Luz to visit the charming city of Cadiz. Guided by a local expert, we will tour the historic centre and admire iconic sites such as Cadiz Cathedral, Plaza de San Juan de Dios and the picturesque Barrio de la Viña neighbourhood.

You will have free time to have lunch at one of its typical bars or restaurants, sampling the exquisite cuisine of Cadiz, with fresh fish and seafood accompanied by excellent Andalusian wines. After lunch, you can continue exploring the city on your own or relax by the sea before returning to Seville.
